Recently unveiled on YouTube, Cora is an electric, self-flying air taxi that takes off and lands vertically. It can reach speeds of over a hundred miles per hour and travel sixty miles on a single charge And it_s the product of Kitty Hawk, which is funded by Google co-founder Larry Page, so you know they_ve got the bucks to make a rideshare service a reality. Development continues in New Zealand, and they hope to have it in service, in the next couple of years. In other news, thanks to a recently proposed government bill, Japan could be growing up in a hurry. The country is looking to lower their age of adulthood from 20 to 18. While age restrictions on drinking, smoking, and gambling would stay in place, 18-year-olds would gain other perks. Like being able to sign contracts and get married without parental consent. But don_t go booking those chapels just yet: if passed, the law isn_t expected to take effect until April 2022. And if United Airlines thought it got bad publicity for dragging a doctor off one of its flights, it ain_t seen nothing yet The airline once again finds itself in the middle of a social media firestorm after a dog died on a flight from Houston to New York. This after a flight attendant insisted that the dog be placed in an OVERHEAD BIN In a statement, a United spokesperson called it a tragic accident that should never have occurred.
