I_m Tia Larose, welcome to Naked News. The city of Boston, The Australian government, and Amazon, are all doing a little investigating after a series of unfortunate incidents. Here with the stories is Laura Desiree in a Naked News Bulletin. Scary situation in Boston Tia, when homes starting blowing up for no apparent reason late last week. There were 39 explosions in all and hundreds of fires that left residents and officials baffled. Investigators later said there was no evidence the explosions were intentional. The culprit seemed to be an over-pressurization of gas lines that led to leaks. Door to door inspections of every single home in 3 suburban areas have now been completed and all 8000 residents who were evacuated can now return home. The Australian government is conducting an investigation after a number of strawberries in the country were found to contain sewing needles Compromised strawberries have now been reported in at least half a dozen states and territories. The Queensland state government is offering a seventy-thousand dollar reward for information leading to the perpetrator_s arrest. Health officials are advising people to cut up their strawberries before eating them. And Amazon is conducting an investigating of its own, after suspected data leaks by its employees According to the Wall Street Journal, some Amazon employees have been selling internal data and confidential information to independent merchants on the site. This info reportedly includes internal sales metrics and reviewers_ email addresses. The employees are also allegedly offering to delete negative reviews and restore banned accounts Given that merchants provide MORE THAN HALF all units sold on the site, this is no small potatoes... which you can also buy on Amazon I_ll be back with more headlines later in the show.
