The world_s attention shifts from Cleveland to Philadelphia along with a whack of protesters as the Democrats present their vision for AmericaI understand they_ve got quite the cavalcade of speakers lined upWell there_s no Scott Baio but for the Democrats it_s still Happy Days ahead The Democratic National Convention runs Monday through Thursday at Philadelphia_s Wells Fargo Center. Unlike the relatively outsider Republican convention every night of the Democratic convention will feature a speaker or two who_ve lived in the White House Headliners include Michelle Obama and Bernie Sanders on Monday Bill Clinton on Tuesday Barack Obama and Joe Biden on Wednesday and Chelsea and Hillary Clinton wrapping things up on Thursday. And if anyone thought the Democrats convention would be drama free well think again. Debbie Wasserman Schultz the CHAIRPERSON of the DNC was forced to resign following an email scandal Wikileaks released 20 thousand emails stolen from the DNC and several of them seemed to indicate a preference for Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders among party staffers In one Wasserman Schultz called a top Sanders aide a damn liar With party unity such a priority it was clear she had to goThe stakes for this convention have become even higher A new CNNORC poll suggests that following their convention the Trump ticket has pulled ahead According to the poll Trump now leads Clinton 48 to 45 percent Trump received a big convention boost among independents with his support skyrocketing from 31 to 46 percent Only time will tell if Hillary ALSO gets a post convention bump.
