Didn_t they reach a settlement on that?A 15-BILLION dollar settlement yes But three states are looking for more over a deception they say went all the way to the top New York Massachusetts and Maryland all filed suit on Tuesday against Volkswagen accusing executives all the way up to former CEO Martin Winterkorn of perpetrating a major fraud against regulators and consumers While the manufacturer has confessed to the use of defeat devices which allowed their diesel cars to fraudulently pass emissions tests the new suits show a previously hidden awareness among top executives. The Dollar Shave Club is becoming the BILLION DOLLAR Shave Club The direct-to-consumer razor blade dealer made famous by its hilarious viral videos is set to be acquired by consumer goods giant Unilever for a cool BILLION dollars. It will continue to operate independently under CEO Michael Dubin with increased resources to fuel its expansion. Hopefully that means more hilarious vids like this. Drunk driving usually only gets reported on when it_s done by a celebrity but sometimes it_s WHAT they_re driving that makes it newsworthy Two Air Transat pilots were arrested on Monday for being drunk hours before they were set to take off on a transatlantic flight Both men have been charged with threatening or abusive behavior and performing an aviation function while over the legal alcohol limit The Glasgow-to-Toronto flight had to be cancelled Carli and didn_t leave until the next day. I guess that stinks for the passengers but it certainly beats the alternative Thanks Eila.
