So the question on everyone_s mind Madison is it going to be a white Christmas? Well if Santa Claus has anything to do with it it most certainly will be. Now let_s check in with Katherine Curtis she_s in the naked newsroom with details on another emissions SCANDAL deal between Volkswagen and the US government. That_s right Eila the German automaker has reached yet ANOTHER agreement with US authorities over its cheating scandal. The company will pay an additional one BILLION dollars to compensate VW owners who needed to bring their cars in for repairs. The payment follows a June settlement that saw VW shell out 15 billion to cover 475-thousand cars affected by the emissions scandal. In September 2015 Volkswagen admitted to installing software to cheat emission tests. Diesel models made between 2009 and 2016 emitted up to 40 TIMES the legally allowable limit The UK is considering a strict set of new rules for drone owners. Under the proposal anyone who buys a drone in the future would need to have it registered AND pass a safety test. The new laws would also bring tougher penalties for anyone who flies a drone into a no-fly zone. The drone industry is projected to be worth BILLIONS by 2025 but critics think these regulations could hinder its growth. They say it will only hurt hobbyists and won_t do anything to stop criminals or terrorists from using drones illegally. And a YouTube star is going viral for all the wrong reasons Adam Saleh claims he was kicked off a Delta flight from London to New York because he was speaking Arabic. Naturally he filmed the entire incident to share with his millions of followers. Saleh claims he was talking to his mom on the phone in Arabic when a female passenger alerted flight attendants. While some are accusing Delta of racism others aren_t so convinced. Saleh is a renowned prankster whose videos have been debunked in the past. Delta says Saleh and his friends were booted from the flight for being disruptive and shouting in the cabin. Don_t go away.
