The drug lord who headed up a multi-BILLION DOLLAR operation is facing SEVENTEEN charges, including drug trafficking and conspiracy to murder. The trial is expected to last around four months, during which time the anonymous jurors will receive armed escorts to and from court every day Testimony is expected from some of El Chapo_s former associates, and he faces life in prison... hopefully in a place without tunnels In other news, hate crimes are on the rise in America. Data released by the FBI shows there were SEVEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FIVE hate crime incidents in 2017, about a thousand more than in 2016. That_s a SEVENTEEN percent increase Roughly sixty percent of the incidents were motivated by racial bias, about half of which were anti-Black.
