Viewing Tips For People New To VR
These tips are based on my personal experiences with Cardboard and Oculus Go. There are many ways of doing it of course and I am no expert.
You can use any VR Player along with any kind of Cardboard viewer, Oculus headset etc. Make sure your video is uploaded to your phone for view in Cardboard or in the movies folder of your Oculus.
Oculus
My personal recommendation for Oculus is _Moon Player_ which is available in the Oculus store free of charge. When you click on your video in the player, make sure you have the following settings. To bring up the settings menu, simply pull the trigger at the screen during playback. The settings are as follows:
1) On the left under the scroll bar there_ll three options: 3D, 180 and 360. Choose 180.
2) To the right of that there are 3 screen options. Full screen, split screen left and right and split screen top and bottom. Choose the icon for split screen left and right.
Now you are watching my video in 3D how it should be watched :-)
Further tips: In the _Screen_ menu to the right you can play around with distance and size of video and even dimensions. This is useful if you want the girls to appear closer, further away, bigger smaller etc. Giantess fans can play around with size, distance and aspect ratio to make the girls seem much larger than they really are
Cardboard
Any cardboard will do. I have a cheap one from a company called Vivanco. My choice of player here is Var_s VR Player, free from the Play store. From within the app, click the big play button, click gallery, click video, find your video. From there, you will be presented with three columns, one called Normal (2D), another Vertical (SBS) and one Horizontal (TOU). Simply look under the Vertical (SBS) heading and choose the image that says 180 degrees and looks like a left to right split screen. Once your video starts playing, you can choose to set the field of view, reset the viewing postion etc. It_s a good player and has some good viewing tweaks available.
Anyway, I hope that helps those of you who are new to this.
