All right, when I say we_ve got a fantastic program for you today, I REALLY mean it_s fantasticIt features one of the most INSANE editions of Versus yet. 2 teams of anchors pitted against each other in an EPIC pizza bake off.And oh my god, I_ve seen some of the footage. You_re going to laugh your ass off, it_s that nutty We_ve also got a new audition. Her name is Samantha, she lives in California and you_ll immediately notice something about her, she_s HOT But first, I hope you_re ready for some Rock and Roll because Carli & Kat have a few stories to tell about their recent adventure to one of the largest rock festivals in North America. It_s called Amnesia Rockfest and here they are to tell you more. Welcome to a special ALL ACCESS edition of Turn It Up Carli and I spent a wild weekend at one of the year_s best heavy metal music festivals: Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello QuebecWhen I heard we_d be spending a weekend camping out and seeing some of my FAVORITE bands I was PUMPED.Me too. And in true rock _n roll style we packed a van with all our gear - and a couple camera men - and hit the open roadOne thing I learned about Kat early on: she_s not a fan of car ride singalongsYeah, that_s not exactly true Carli - I_m just not a fan of cheesy 80_s hair metal. Except Mother Nature had other plans, _cause we got caught in a nasty rain storm on our way in. That left us with two decisions: set up our tents in a rainsoaked field in the dark, or spend the night in the comfort of a roadside motel.Yeah REAL tough call We pulled over and settled in for the night. There_s nothing more rock _n roll than tattoos, right? I already had a few of my own but Kat didn_t. So we killed some time that night by adding some new ones.Removable of course. But yeah, we looked like total badasses. The next morning we got our campsite set up and got startedOne of the great things about having VIP passes? Avoiding lineups and getting special access to the backstage area on a BOAT.And the ride over gave us a chance to brush up on our FrenchOnce we hit land it was clear that Rockfest was going to be one awesome party.And let_s just say there was no shortage of interesting characters.That lady WAS totally hardcore. And also kind of intense. So was that dude with the crazy condom trick - it_s not what you think, people.CB) Definitely one of those things I_ll never be able to UNsee.Now it wasn_t all weird circus acts, Carli.We talked to all kinds of musicians, and one of the first bands we ran into was California punk group the Mad CaddiesLater that night Carli and I cozied up in a tent, and I have to admit I slept like a baby. Must have been all that fresh air.Yeah I loved it. But the camera guys weren_t so excited about sleeping in the great outdoors. Long story short it was a really great adventure, and we can_t wait to share all kinds of awesome new segments with our viewers in the coming weeksWe really never know what_s going to happen when we_re out there with the public. It can be exciting, surprising, and sometimes frustrating.That_s a quick look at our trip to Amnesia Rockfest.
