How about a VERY diverse duo of donut delights going from the sweet to the spicySweet ok but SPICY donuts? Really?Absolutely But I_ll EASE you into the spice with the sweet ones first Welcome to the Naked Foodie everyone Houston_s GLAZED donut shop is taking the pastry to a WHOLE other level. First off the shop is open 24-7 so you can get your fix whenever the need hits. And MORE importantly the donuts are huge and CRAZY decadent Choices include creme brulee caramel salted pretzels and Fruity Pebbles They also offer grilled cheese and breakfast sandwiches - with sliced donuts as bread. On the other end of the flavor spectrum the new Jolie Patisserie in Harlem is offering up a donut flavored with SRIRACHA It_s a standard plain donut but topped with sour cream slivered almonds and a drizzle of the popular hot sauce. The bakery also sells goodies like danishes croissants and macarons. But face it - if you go you_re going to try a Sriracha donut.New York City is the birthplace of the wildly popular Shake Shack burger chain. But a FOREIGN invader is hoping to stake a claim in the Big Apple Beijing_s Uncle Sam_s is the Shake Shack of China and has opened right on Fifth Avenue. It_s menu includes burgers with Asian stylings like kimchi fermented black bean mayo and ginger soy. There_s also a burger with a shiu mai patty made of pork and shrimp. Prices range from six to fifteen dollars.Lay_s potato chips is giving their fans a chance to create a custom chip bag with their picture on it The Lay_s Summer Bag Creator tool lets people upload a photo and caption. And the first ten thousand people to try the stunt will get their actual customized bag Everyone else will get a digital image they can share on social media. The promotion runs through July 4th. They_ve created FOODOGRAPHY a special dining experience that includes tips from a pro photographer AND specially designed dishware. One plate has a slot to stabilize a smartphones plus a large curved background and another has a dish you can rotate allowing 360-degree views.
