But what he DIDN_T tell her was that he_d instructed the pilot to fake a plane crash She actually thought she was done Have a look. Pretty scary, right? Paris was so upset by the stunt that she_s decided to sue everyone involved for emotional distress. We think she_s got a pretty strong caseAmy Schumer is one of Hollywood_s hottest comics right now, and it_s partly thanks to the job she DIDN_T take. When Jon Stewart announced he was leaving the Daily Show, Amy was on Comedy Central_s shortlist of candidates to replace him. But in a new interview with the New York Times, she reveals she didn_t take the gig because she didn_t want to make a safe choice. It sure looks like her intuition paid off. Amy_s stock is skyrocketing, and she_s got a starring role in Judd Apatow_s latest comedy, Trainwreck, which critics are already calling the year_s best comedy. Speaking of trainwrecks, the BET Awards are always a mess, but this year_s show was especially hilarious - for all the wrong reasons The biggest on-stage goof of the night award goes to P Diddy, who fell through a hole in the stage. Oooh that couldn_t have felt too good. Then there_s Rihanna, who wanted to shower fans with cash while previewing the new video for her single Bitch Better Have My Money. But BET President of Programming Stephen Hill wasn_t having it, and the cameras caught the backstage moment when Rihanna threw a stack of bills right in his face Ri-Ri did NOT look happy And last but not least we_ve got Nicki Minaj, who capped the night off with an acceptance speech for the ages. After Heath Ledger_s Oscar-winning performance it_s no secret that Jared Leto has some BIG shoes to fill as the new Joker. But based on early reports he_s taking things to a whole other level Leto was frequently absent during the film_s early prep, but he sent his Suicide Squad co-stars some special gifts to let them know he was staying in character Margot Robbie received a love letter with a black box containing a LIVE RAT inside Will Smith got some bullets with a letter, and Leto also sent the cast a dead hog and a special video. The actors say Leto was playing the Joker in the vid, and his twisted take on the villain blew them away And Jeremy Clarkson_s final episode of Top Gear finally aired to mixed reviews this week. The 75-minute special featured co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond in an empty studio, accompanied by a plastic elephant named Jeremy. Get it? The ELEPHANT in the room? Anyway, some critics loved the final broadcast, saying it was like watching a beloved band_s final concert. Others weren_t so impressed, saying the show was past its prime and as worn out as a bald tyre. If you loved Top Gear don_t worry, this isn_t the last we_ve seen of Clarkson and the boys. How_s it going over there Eila?There_s a TON of energy and excitement down here Kat. Thousands of athletes from 41 countries have flocked to Toronto. It might not be the Olympics, but it_s still a HUGE event in the city. And I know Torontonians have had some mixed feelings about it.That_s true - the games have caused road closures all over the city. But now that things are finally underway I think people are starting to come around There really is a buzz around the city, and especially down here near the athlete_s village I decided to see what people thought about the games, and find out which sports they were MOST looking forward to No doubt there_s something for everyone at these games Personally I can_t wait for the basketball and bowling. I mean seriously, who knew you could win a medal for bowling? Now with a few more highlights from the 2015 Pan Am Games, including the latest medal count, here is Carli BeiThanks Eila. It sounds like the Brazilian cycling team isn_t so great with directions. Over the weekend Toronto police received a report of cyclists riding illegally on the shoulder of a VERY busy highway. When the cops caught up to the riders, they realized the nine bikers were decked out in Brazilian gear. Turns out the team went out for a practice ride, took a wrong turn, and wound up stuck on the highway. They needed a police escort to get them back to the athlete_s village. Let_s hope they have better luck on race dayThe host country is definitely representing itself well so far. The Canadians pulled in 16 medals on Sunday, dominating in both men and women_s rugby competitions, as well as cycling and women_s diving contests. Now let_s send things over to Carli Bei for MORE on the Pan Am GamesThanks EIla, the Toronto games just got a big boost in the star power department It_s been announced that Kanye West will be performing at the closing ceremonies Love him or hate him, there_s no denying that Kanye is a major coup for event organizers - especially when you consider that Ricky Martin closed the last games in Guadalajara. No offense to Ricky or his fans The closing ceremonies will take place at the Rogers Centre on July 26th. It looks like the games are going to cost a LOT more than originally planned. The project_s original budget was set for 1.4 billion dollars, but costs have already soared to 2.5 billion - and some observers think the final tally will cross the 3 billion threshold. Toronto taxpayers probably won_t be happy about footing such an astronomically pricey bill. And all eyes were on the water Tuesday as decorated US swimmer Natalie Coughlin hit the pool. Coughlin was the favorite to win the 100-metre freestyle event, but ultimately fell just short. She won silver, and took home a second silver in the 4 by 100 freestyle event. In both cases the Americans lost to Canadian swimmers. The host nation continued its impressive run on Day 4, finishing yet another day atop the medal standings. Here_s the latest tally.

And here_s something you may not have known, it was revealed that Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow is set to direct Star Wars Episode 9. Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance to accept a Disney Legend award. Johnny thanked everyone for giving him quote the opportunity to do stupid stuff. Later, he thrilled fans by showing up as Captain Jack Sparrow during a presentation for Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Meanwhile Iron Man director Jon Favreau is helming a live-action CGI version of the Jungle Book, which Disney is touting as the most technologically advanced movie ever. In other entertainment news, If you want to party like Jay-Z you need to DRINK like Jay-Z. And now you can, thanks to his new line of champagne Hope you_re ready for some big pimpin_, because a single bottle of The Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades costs 760 dollars Jay-Z started making the bubbly to spite the makers of Cristal, which is a favorite in the hip hop community. But in 2006, a Cristal higher-up slammed pop stars and rappers for drinking the champagne, complaining that it made the brand look trashy. Last week, the New York Times revealed Cosby had stated on record that he_d given a woman Benadryl before engaging in sex. Cosby later paid the woman 10 thousand dollars, although he claimed it was for her education.FIFA executive Jeffrey Webb has pleaded NOT GUILTY to allegations of bribery. The former football Vice President was extradited to the US last week to face charges of accepting cash-for-votes in World Cup bids. Webb and 6 other officials were detained by Swiss police back in May, but so far he is the only one that has been extradited. Webb has been released on 10 million dollars bail and his movements will be monitored by electronic tracking pending trial.Ashley Madison - the infamous dating website designed for married people to cheat on their partners - has been HACKED. Cyber thieves known as The Impact Team have released the personal details of site members online. The hackers claim Ashley Madison LIED to customers by not deleting the accounts of former customers, EVEN when they had paid for that info to be removed. Although no numbers have been confirmed, up to 37 MILLION users in 50 countries could be affected. I_m Andrea Sully, if you were one of the MILLIONS of Citibank customers between 2003 and 2012, you MIGHT be owed some cash. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has ordered the bank to pay 700 MILLION dollars for overcharging account holders. The payout affects around 9 million people who were duped into credit card add-on services. Some customers were even charged for services they didn_t actually receive. Current account holders will automatically receive a credit on their statement while ex-customers will receive a check in the mail.It_s another stellar quarter for Apple as the tech giant posted RECORD results. Profits increased by a whopping 38 percent to 10 point 7 BILLION. iPhone sales were up 35 percent from a year ago, while the number of Macs sold, rose 9 percent. Sales of iPads dropped but Apple still managed to sell nearly 11 million units. Sales figures from the Apple watch weren_t disclosed, but overall, CEO Tim Cook called it an amazing quarter.Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg is now the 9th richest person on the planet. Zuckerberg_s swelling bank account is all thanks to the surging price of Facebook stock. The social media juggernaut hit an an all time high of 100 dollars recently. That_s an INCREDIBLE rise of more than 160 PERCENT from its 2012 initial public offering. In total, Zuckerberg is worth an estimated 43 billion, while Facebook_s value tops 275 billion. Holland is largely unknown in North America, but has three movies being released this year, including Ron Howards In the Heart of the Sea. Well see Hollands webslinger debut in next years Captain America: Civil War, with the rebooted Spider-Man hitting screens in July 2017.Movie fans have spoken, and Indiana Jones is the greatest movie character EVER. Empire Magazines poll put the swashbuckling archaeologist played by Harrison Ford ahead of superspy James Bond, with another of Harrison Fords roles, Han Solo, in third. For TELEVISION characters, Breaking Bads Walter White took top spot over Tyrion Lannister of Game of Thrones, and Homer Simpson. If you had to guess whod be behind a biopic of comedian Groucho Marx, you probably wouldnt come up with Rob Zombie. But hes doing pre-production on a film based on the book Raised Eyebrows: My Years Inside Grouchos House. It turns out Zombie is actually a longtime fan of Marx. He describes the project as Grouchos Sunset Boulevard, a sad, funny, and very dark tale of the funnyman.And great news for fans of the British version of The Office David Brent will be back in Life On The Road, a MOVIE spin-off, to hit screens late next year. The film will continue in the doc-style format of the TV show, following Brent-played by Ricky Gervais-as he leaves the corporate world to take his band on tour in search of rock n roll stardom. Gervais will write, direct, produce, AND star.Now let_s have an early look at the upcoming action-adventure blockbuster, Everest. Its based on the true story of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster, where a massive blizzard killed eight climbers. The films A-list cast includes heavyweights Josh Brolin, Keira Knightley, Jake Gyllenhaal and Sam Worthington. She created quite the stir in the busy district, but the public response was overwhelmingly POSITIVE.
